ClearCorrect is made by the Straumann Group, a Swiss dental company founded in 1954 and listed on the Swiss stock exchange, employing around 12,000 people with products used in roughly 100 countries. They’re best known for dental implants, and they acquired ClearCorrect in 2017.

The aligners are made from a three-layer material with a flexible middle layer, so they apply gentle, steady pressure rather than a sharp force that fades away. They’re trimmed flat above the gumline, which helps them grip properly and means some cases need fewer attachments than they otherwise would. They’re clear and stain resistant too, which matters more than you’d think if you drink coffee.

Not at all. You can come to us as a pay-as-you-go patient and take exactly the same offer. 

It depends on your package and how you pay.

On our in-house payment plan you don’t get the 10%, but you still beat the September price. That’s £200 off Cure Mini, Cure One and Cure Two, £250 off Cure Three, and £300 off Cure Complex.

Pay in full and the 10% comes off on top. That takes it to £399.50 on Cure Mini, rising to £749.50 on Cure Complex.

So the smallest saving is £200. The largest is £749.50.

It depends on your package and on what your teeth need. Simple cases finish a good deal quicker than complex ones.

We’ll give you a realistic timeframe at your assessment, once we’ve seen your teeth and agreed your package. Not before.

Not really, but expect your teeth to feel tight for a day or two each time you move to a new aligner. That’s them working.

Some people notice a bit of temperature sensitivity, or a slight lisp for the first few days. Both settle.

Changing to a new aligner at bedtime helps.

Start your ClearCorrect treatment before 7 September and you pay today’s price rather than the new one.

Pay for your treatment in full and take a further 10% off on top of that.

Would you rather spread the cost? Our in-house payment plan holds today’s price too. You don’t get the 10%, but you still pay less than you would in September.

Everything needs to be sorted by 4pm on Sunday 6 September.

Because clear aligners are now subject to VAT.

A tax tribunal ruled this summer that they aren’t exempt. They used to be treated like a crown or a denture, and legally they’re not. Every practice in the country is affected, whichever brand they use.

That cost reaches us, and from 7 September it reaches our price list. We’ve held it as long as we sensibly can, which is why you’re hearing this a month early rather than in October.

You can still start treatment. You’ll pay the September price.
